INGREDIENTS:
- 3 tablespoons olive oil
- 3/4 teaspoon dried basil
- 3/4 teaspoon dried oregano
- 1/4 teaspoon dried pepper flakes
- 2 cloves garlic
- 2 cups dry white wine
- 1 28-oz can tomatoes
- Salt
- optional 1/2 teaspoon sugar
- Saute basil, oregano, pepper flakes and garlic
- Add wine. Simmer 10 minutes.
- Add tomatoes. Simmer partially covered 20 minutes.
- Add sure if wine is very dry.
- Cover until needed.
